My name is Marianne van Bochove and I am a Senior Researcher at the Centre of Expertise Governance of Urban Transitions (CoE GUTs) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS). I obtained my PhD in Sociology in 2012 at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. My research interests and expertise include:

  • Innovative solutions for ageing in place
  • Urban development
  • The societal impact of COVID-19
  • Changing roles of professionals and citizens in health and social care
  • Migrant care work
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

I have published in academic journals including Global Networks, Population, Space & Place, Current Sociology, Administration & Society, and British Journal of Criminology (see 'Publicaties' for a full list).
